Meetings online have numerous advantages particularly in an increasingly virtual world. Meetings are time-saving for all those involved. Online meetings are also more reliable. Maybe it’s because participants don’t have think about running to the bathroom or getting dressed to impress before calling in. Additionally, online meetings help companies save money. When a company holds a meeting in-person, it must cover the cost of the room and refreshments. This is not the case for online meetings.

However, there are some drawbacks to online meetings that aren’t to be ignored. For example, it can be hard to capture people’s attention during a meeting when they aren’t able to see each faces. This could result in people checking their emails or social media during meetings, which is not conducive to a productive session.
